It is encouraging when I find a great site. I go through the whole of it and feel satisfied and inspired to create something like the same. My God is so creative and I have that same quality as I was created in His own image. That’s why I love creativity. Whenever I see something very creative I fall for it.

Are you sleeping well !!!

Posted by thecandles on April 14, 2007

Is goodnight sleep a dream for you? According to psychologists, most sleep problems have underlying causes that are either temporary or can be effectively treated. For example, family or job worries are a frequent cause of insomnia. When they clear up, so may the insomnia.

One trouble with sleeping pills and alcoholic “nightcaps” is that regular users can develop a tolerance for them and need ever-greater doses to fall asleep. The risk of dependency and addiction is great.

Strategy for Victims of Insomnia

v     Get into bed at 1:00 A.M. and get out of bed at 5:00 A.M., even if you are trying to establish fully asleep. You are trying to establish a structured sleep schedule, so rigid timing is important. Set your alarm for the chosen wakeup hour.

v     Remember sleep and wake up at the same time everyday.

v     The bedroom must be completely dark while you sleep, but be sure to turn on the lights or let the sun shine come in.

v     If awake and relaxed during sleep period, stay in bed.

v     If you cannot help feeling anxious about being awake during a sleep period and efforts to relax do not work, get out of bed.

v     When you are out of bed, do household chores (laundry, cleaning, paying bills, etc.). If you feel sleepy, get back into bed. No matter what time you return to bed, get up at 5 A.M.

v     Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and cigarettes to have good night sleep.

v     Do not exercise within 2 hours of bedtime.

v     Avoid big meals and spicy foods before bedtime.

v     Don’t drink too much water or any liquid just before bedtime.

v     If active thoughts persist near or during bedtime, keep a diary. Spend 15 / 20 minutes after dinner and work on your worries. Writes the problems down, along with short-term or long-term solutions.

v     Avoid naps during the day.

v     Have a comfortable bed for sweet dream sleep.

v     Don’t go to bed if you are not feeling sleepy, wait for some time or read a book or write.

v     Don’t let anybody or anything to interfere with your sleep.

If you stick to these rules, you should get good results within 1-½ months. Those who are not helped by this treatment may suffer from a psychological or physiological problem and should consult doctor or a psychiatric.

The Greatest ‘WHO’ !

Posted by thecandles on April 8, 2007

Can anybody surpass the Almighty God? Nobody can, because He controls everything in this whole creation. Everything belongs to Him and He is the supreme manager of everything. He does whatever He wants to do. We just have to act according to His direction and His will. Today in Easter I have only one message to give you all and that is “just submit yourself under His will and direction.” Read the following passage where God is asking Job few questions, which are relevant for us too…

Then the Lord answered Job out of the storm. He said: ”Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge?  Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me. “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone– while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy? ”Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb, when I made the clouds its garment and wrapped it in thick darkness, when I fixed limits for it and set its doors and bars in place, when I said, ‘This far you may come and no farther; here is where your proud waves halt’? “Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place, that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it? The earth takes shape like clay under a seal; its features stand out like those of a garment. The wicked are denied their light, and their upraised arm is broken. ”Have you journeyed to the springs of the sea or walked in the recesses of the deep? Have the gates of death been shown to you? Have you seen the gates of the shadow of death? Have you comprehended the vast expanses of the earth? Tell me, if you know all this.” What is the way to the abode of light? And where does darkness reside? Can you take them to their places? Do you know the paths to their dwellings? Surely you know, for you were already born! You have lived so many years! “Have you entered the storehouses of the snow or seen the storehouses of the hail, which I reserve for times of trouble, for days of war and battle? What is the way to the place where the lightning is dispersed, or the place where the east winds are scattered over the earth? Who cuts a channel for the torrents of rain, and a path for the thunderstorm, to water a land where no man lives, a desert with no one in it, to satisfy a desolate wasteland and make it sprout with grass? Does the rain have a father? Who fathers the drops of dew? From whose womb comes the ice? Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens when the waters become hard as stone, when the surface of the deep is frozen? ”Can you bind the beautiful Pleiades? Can you loose the cords of Orion? Can you bring forth the constellations in their seasons or lead out the Bear with its cubs? Do you know the laws of the heavens? Can you set up God’s dominion over the earth? ”Can you raise your voice to the clouds and cover yourself with a flood of water? Do you send the lightning bolts on their way? Do they report to you, ‘Here we are’? Who endowed the heart with wisdom or gave understanding to the mind? Who has the wisdom to count the clouds? Who can tip over the water jars of the heavens when the dust becomes hard and the clods of earth stick together? ”Do you hunt the prey for the lioness and satisfy the hunger of the lions when they crouch in their dens or lie in wait in a thicket? Who provides food for the raven when it’s young cry out to God and wander about for lack of food?
